A draft amendment to the Electrical Construction Business Act Enforcement Rule expands simplified performance reporting to contracts under 10 million won (comments until Nov 25). The Incheon District Court cancelled a refusal to extend the stay of a Russian refugee re-applicant.

Six months after the compatriot status of stay was consolidated into F-4, the number of Working Visit (H-2) compatriots fell from about 81,000 to about 31,000. From October 12, financial companies' overdue personal receivables qualify for bad-debt recognition only on the condition that the statute of limitations is allowed to expire, and a proposed amendment to the Enforcement Rule on senior welfare housing, allowing residents to stay even if their health worsens, is open for public comment until November 23.
Order to Delete False Job Advertisements and Ex Officio Cancellation of Closed Employment Agencies; Subordinate Statutes of the Employment Security Act to be Enforced on December 10
In accordance with the amendment to the Employment Security Act effective December 10, the Ministry of Employment and Labor has announced the proposed amendments to the Enforcement Decree and Enforcement Rule (comments accepted until November 2). False job advertisements will be subject to orders for correction, suspension of posting, or deletion, and job recruitment sites must verify suspicious advertisements before posting them. Job placement businesses that have closed without reporting will be subject to ex officio cancellation, and the penalty for a first-time violation of compliance requirements by job information providers will be reduced from a one-month business suspension to a warning.
Amendment to the Disability Rating Standards for Persons of National Merit: Expansion of Grade 7 for Finger Loss and Changes to Grade 6 Requirements for Joint Disability
I have reviewed the original text of the proposed amendments to the Enforcement Decree and Enforcement Rule of the Act on the Honorable Treatment of Persons, etc. of National Merits, which the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs announced for legislative notice on September 30. While the loss of the distal phalanges of the third and fourth fingers and the restriction of movement in a single thumb joint will be newly added to Grade 7, the requirements for Grade 6, Item 2, regarding impairment of two out of the three major joints of the arms or legs, will change from "one arm (leg)" to "two arms (legs)." Additionally, a new regulation will be established stating that if the measurement of the range of motion of a joint does not match the imaging findings, it shall not be used as the basis for grading.
