Registration Requirements for a Measuring Device Management Agency Business — Technical Personnel and Equipment for Stack and Water Quality TMS
A measuring device management agency business manages measuring devices on behalf of business sites that have installed automatic stack measuring devices or automatic water quality measuring devices. It is registered by meeting the facility, equipment and technical personnel standards set by Presidential Decree, under the Clean Air Conservation Act for the air field and the Water Environment Conservation Act for the water quality field. The field to be registered must be decided first before the personnel and equipment budget can be worked out.
Procedure
1. Decide the field of registration
Decide which field to manage: automatic air (stack) measuring devices or automatic water quality measuring devices. The governing statute and the personnel and equipment standards differ by field, so this decision is the starting point of preparation.
2. Secure technical personnel
Secure the technical personnel prescribed for each field as full-time staff. Collect evidence of qualifications and career in advance, and check that the personnel are not also registered at another business site.
3. Prepare the office and equipment
Provide an independent office and equipment that meets the standards. For equipment, check the validity period of the calibration certificate, and also check whether the building use is suitable for office and laboratory use.
4. Check grounds for disqualification and apply for registration
After confirming that the representative and executives do not fall under any ground for disqualification, submit the registration application with the personnel and equipment materials. During the review, it is checked whether the personnel and equipment are actually held and can be used.
5. Comply with the management standards after registration
After receiving the registration certificate, you must comply with the management standards for maintaining the reliability and accuracy of measurement results. If an important registered matter changes, file a registration of change. Lending the registered name to another person is prohibited.
