Information and Communications Construction Business Registration Requirements — Capital of 150,000,000 Won, 4 Engineers and Application Documents

Procedure

1. 1. Check the registration criteria

   Capital must be 150,000,000 won or more, assessed by asset valuation for individuals. The technical capability requirement is 3 or more technical-track information and communications engineers (at least 1 at intermediate level or higher) and 1 or more skill-track engineers, and the skill-track engineer may be replaced by a technical-track engineer. The office must be a space the engineers can always use and that can hold office equipment.

2. 2. Obtain a deposit or contribution confirmation

   Make a cash deposit or contribution of 10% or more of the capital standard amount to the Information and Communications Mutual Aid Association or a designated financial company, and obtain a confirmation proving it.

3. 3. Prepare the attachments

   Prepare documents on the personal details of the applicant (officers for a corporation), a corporate diagnosis report, a list of information and communications engineers with copies of their career handbooks, the deposit or contribution confirmation, and a copy of the office lease contract. Documents must be issued within 30 days before the registration application date.

4. 4. Apply and receive the registration certificate

   Submit the information and communications construction business registration application to the mayor or governor having jurisdiction over the principal business office. A corporation applies in the name of the representative on the register, and the engineers' national pension and health insurance enrollment and building information are checked through shared administrative information. If documents are missing or unclear, you will be asked to supplement them, and once registered, a registration certificate and registration handbook are issued.

5. 5. Report of change and transfer report

   If the trade name, business office location, representative or information and communications engineers change, or capital falls below the standard, file a report of change within 30 days from the date the reason arises. When transferring the business or merging, file a report with the transfer contract, registration certificate and handbook, and the client's consent for construction in progress.
